Thanks Mahitosh for placing a link to my Blog on your blog. The list i have mentioned on my blog is for year 2008. One need not to have every company in one's port folio. what i do is i buy 10-12 stocks at a time for 1-2 quarters and once i get my desired profits i rotate my principle + profit to another 10-12 stocks in different sectors. So with 50 stocks i do this thing every 1-2 quarters. some time ifeel that particular stock can be held in next quarters also as there is some news or it may run more in coming days, then i hold that also. but keeping list ready helps me to track the stocks which are not in my current portfolio and i may add them later while churning my current folio. I must say i am still working on that. i am reading all the articles on thedigaratilife blog, how American people Invest in stock market, what are other investment options in their markets, what problems they face and how they overcome them. Becaue it's a great learning as American markets are more matured that Indian markets. It helps.
